haha heylos i haven't updated for nearly a month, man! xD compared to when i first started this blog i had five posts in a night! so many things have been happening and i am, quite amazingly, still alive! (: well under the request of many many people, i shall be obliging and update update update.
firstly, RGCHOIR OWNED THE ESPLANADE! we totally rocked the place man (: and... i have my very own esplanade name tag * screams with excitement* it says ' amanda yim. artist. raffles girls school choir' note the artist. i am an artist * bounces around the room* and the dressing rooms are so uber cool, especially the mirrors, which have those hollywood style lights :O the hall is amazinggg! i've watched oliver twist there before, but sitting in the audience is whole different feeling from being on the stage (: in short, my first concert was great great great great and now im totally in love with choir :D and.. i didn't look like i was beaten up this time! whooo xD rgchoir i love you to bits <3 my dad says we were very interesting, and that stace and chao were GREAT. on another note, chao looked super cute in that ... costume (: (:
on tuesday i was rushing for history pt, thanks to the concert the choristers got one day extra, and my computer. DECIDED NOT TO WORK. well it was working technically. i finished it, and when i was burning the cd as i had done so like a million times for songs and powerpoints, my computer said ERROR. and then my whole powerpoint thingy crashed. i was super super super pissed, but well uncle benny did manage to get it into a cd for me three hours later when he came back but he had to compress it into a zip or something cause the powerpoint was too big :/
national day was totally cool, compared to primary school. i could feel the atmosphere and everything. the guest of honour wasn't very patriotic though. he wasn't even in red or white -.-
there were some segments that were quite boring though. me,ariel, yvonne and azura sat down and sang songs, much to the amusement of some passerbys and classmates (: overall it was fun and i was a happy girl :P
headed to mg later, as i had planned for like, forever, took the bus which was heading to yishun to get there. i've never taken a bus to mg before and boy, it took forever. hmm. after all the complications and stuff ( which will be too long to describe here ) i finally got to kap, and settled down, but the queeue was so freaking long with acs, mgs, scgs, nanyang and hci. haha and i was in uniform and everyone gave me weird stares. just when i settled down, i got a call from sam, saying that if i didnt go back for speech day rehearsal, ms loo was send us for straight dc. yalalalallalaa, after all the talking and calls and smses, i decided to just go back. so i had to leave everyone at kap. i feel damn bad. i'd been looking forward to meeting everyone way before this speech day rehearsal even cropped up. eventually, i broke down twice. once in macs, and once at school. thanks stef for comforting me, you're the best <3
the rehearsal was a flop and we didnt do anything productive at all. what a waste of time. very ironically, we ordered macs to eat at the hall, so i did get to eat macs at least.
whoops i gotta go. there's more but i'll update laterr.
